Southwest Performing Arts

A proud tradition of excellence

Southwest High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota is well known for its exceptional performing arts curriculum. When a student chooses to become a Southwest Laker, they're presented with a number of opportunities to dive into band, choir, dance, guitar, jazz, orchestra, and theatre.

The Southwest Performing Arts Council is a committed group of parent advocates who partner with the performing arts faculty. Our proud tradition of excellence in performing arts curriculum and programming is directly due to the generosity of parents, alumni, extended family, local businesses, and neighbors.
