Did you know that the Minneapolis School District provides about $300 to $500 per year for the entire Band-Orchestra-Jazz program at Southwest High School? As noted by Reid Wixson, Director of Instrumental Music Education, that amount pays for a bus to get the marching band to the Minnesota State Fair. The remainder of the year is not funded. We need your help.
